The Carolina Christian College JV squad won their season opener against Franklin Prep on Friday night October 1 .The JV squad led by Coach Shawn Perry begin its first season under his leadership with a 86-68 victory. The first half had the centurion squad down by four, but the beginning of the second half saw a 20 point run by the centurions that would eventually clinch the victory. “The win was a team victory and the squad made the adjustments to pull out the win,” said Coach Tee Wooten, the head coach of the men’s basketball program. The team was lead by outstanding players Antonio Baldwin with game high 26 points and defensive player of the game Robert Murdock.
