The Lady Centurion soccer team celebrated the first win of their inaugural season against Patrick Henry College. The Lady Centurions traveled to Martinsville, Va to face the Lady Pats with an 0-3 losing record. Injuries, and a short bench have plagued the CCC first year program. After a week off the Lady Centurions were rested and healed and preformed with maximum effort. Led by team leaders Maryi Ramos with 3 goals, JoJo Cubero with one point and goalie Gabby Echeverri with 6 saves; the Lady Centurion shut out the Lady Pats 5-0. Gabby Echeverri is having a stellar year with over 30 saves for the first part of the season. Coach Kendall Leak is focused on molding premier student athletes while building a highly competitive soccer program. We are looking forward to more success! Go Lady Centurions
